Kamel's devotion of helping those who are in need in our community was clear through his participation in a number of social, voluntary and charity activities.
Finally summarizing all these activities with Hadi Nasereddin, his friend since childhood, they launched Nakhweh.com (Volunteer Matching, Causes and Initiatives website for the Arab world) that has been popped by the Ideation Box team on August 2009.
Kamel in a couple of lines
The passion for web was nurtured after graduating from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in January 2007, where Kamel was granted the opportunity to work for some of Jordan’s leading companies and projects; Akhtaboot.com (the career network) and Jawaker.com (Arab card game website). With these Kamel became involved with the web through various capacities of pure open source development using the latest trends and technologies (PHP, Ruby on Rails and Ruby on Merb), passing by usability, information architecture, social media, online marketing, blogging, SEO and finally, web design. In June 2009, Kamel co-founded Ideation Box which made it possible to express social involvement by co-finding Nakhweh.com.
We quote him in: "I hate traditions (especially those that don’t make sense at all) as I believe they came from misunderstanding the religion. I also hate “follow the pack” mentality. Watching News is definitely NOT one of my many interests since I believe it is the main cause of heart attacks and high blood pressure but I still manage to keep myself up-to-date with what is happening in the world we live in. I have to admit that I’m stubborn (BIG TIME) as in: I’ll never agree with you just for the sake of being nice!"
